J Qrochet Designs uniquely spelt with a “Q” is a crochet business that falls under the fashion brand: Jolie Amour by J’Quelah Callwood. The owner is a young Fashion Designer and entrepreneur in the Virgin Islands.

Crocheting fosters exploration in the fashion clothing industry in many different ways! Persons have to keep in mind that these items are not produced by a factory; they’re handmade by the owner.

At J Qrochet Designs, we create unique crochet designs, hooked with love and creativity! J Qrochet Designs can cater to a variety of clothing needs for any gender, age and size.

Our Story

My crochet journey all started in 2016, when I received a crochet gift set from my mom on Christmas Day. This gift planted a seed of something special that has grown into an art form I’ve created a business from.

Years passed and I picked back up the hobby in 2022, when one of my friends reached out to me about making them a crop top. Others then made requests, so in experimenting and creating different designs, my talents blossomed and I started to build my business.

With hooks, yarns, needles, my hands, and scissors, I can create something handmade and quite unique. As an aspiring fashion designer, I can pursue my passion for designing through another medium, aside from cloth textiles. This is why every stitch, chain, single, double, triple/treble crochet is hooked and looped with care. Like with artistry and the different tools: graphite, charcoal, paints, crayons, markers, chalk and so on, fashion in the clothing sense has a widespread of tools that can be utilized to create designs. The industry is not only limited to cloth.

Adjustability

All of our products have adjustable straps and ties to fit the wearer to size.

Because of the adjustability features, some products can fit multiple sizes.

Measurements

When customizing products, certain measurements have to be provided by the customer upon request from the supplier to ensure personalized fit.

Price Determination

The pricing of items depends on many factors and variables.

Time

Items are priced based on the amount time each takes to make (days/weeks).

Design Complexity

Depending on the complexity and intricacy of a design, prices can vary, especially when a specific stitch is requested.

Example: single crochet stitches create a solid pattern, but it takes longer than an item with double crochet stitches which are not as compact.

Amount of Yarn Used

The amount of yarn used, as well as multiple different color additions which require yarn changes is another factor. Added ruffles are usually + $5.00-$10.00 because it uses more yarn.

Size of Article

Sizes range from: XS, S, M, L, XL and so on… The larger the size, the more surface area has to be covered and therefore stitched. This constitutes to the physical size of a piece, which can affect the price.

Provide your name, number and email to ensure contact and understanding for customization.

Step 2: Include Description

Specify what you would like to be created. In this brief description include all colors, patterns and stylistic features you desire.

Step 3: Upload Images

Make your custom crochet order by uploading reference images of what you want created in the form of a URL link.

Step 4: Body Measurements

Based on the measurements requested by the designer, take all your measurements in inches and list them correctly under the correct headings provided.
